"ペイント" のプリインストールでの提供が終了する

4月に配信された Creators Updateでは、"3Dペイント" が導入されました。



さてこの秋に予定されている、"Fall Creators Update" からは、"ペイント" がなくなり、"3Dペイント" のみになることが明らかになりました。



ただし、これはあくまでもプリインストールでは搭載されないというだけのことで、"Features that are removed or deprecated in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update" によれば、

"Microsoft Paint" のところでは、
"Will be available through the Windows Store. Functionality integrated into Paint 3D."

あまりにも反響があり過ぎたようで、急きょブログでも、

MS Paint is here to stay

と紹介されるなど、ストアアプリとしてはその後も提供は続くようです。
